...who WOULDN'T wanna play NCAA baseball?
Okay, this is like the first game I've gotten in two years... I only got it as soon as I heard that you can create your own baseball field, which is something I've been dreaming of seeing in a game since I was like 8. And I like the college style game of play, and this is the first ever college baseball game (since EA couldn't get an MLB license this year). It makes sense that the first game where you can make your own ballpark would be in a college game, cause you don't have to worry about huge outfield bleachers and upper decks. It's still kinda limited, but you can put the fences wherever and however tall you want, and it's a feature I'm sure they'll add onto their next few games, maybe even for MLB games. Oh, AND, they have a new 'load and fire' batting system where you use the analog stick, somewhat like in the Tiger Woods games that I also always play. If they ever do add on to that custom ballpark feature (whether in an NCAA or MLB game), I'll probably buy it right away.
Okay, so maybe it came out 7 9 months ago... I probably haven't been keeping up on video games.

Wooo, going to the ALCS! That hasn't happened since 1987, before I was born... Yankees being eliminated, that's also a nice bonus. I really hope the Mets go down too, I can't stand them, but it might be hard since they're... kinda... well, "good".

Every single test out there will tell me I'm an ENTP, but I know most of the time the INTP description matches me almost perfectly. I always figured I was right in between, but now this test tells me I'm 86%. I mean, I like social type stuff and hanging out with people, but I don't think that necessarily makes me an extrovert.
Also, I would've expected 'Openness to Experience' to be a lot higher, but everything else on there looks very accurate.
Oh, and intellect = only 55? WRONG! (maybe I didn't realize what 'rash' was slang for???)

At least on Xanga you can post about something random* and still get like 15! WAAAAAAH*!!! It's no fun to update when no one like puts something random about it, just so I know someone* read it or just so it's something funny or something* or motivating or something!!!!1111

Have any of you been to Bash.org lately? It's a funny site. Basically, people submit IM conversations they've had (most of them actually happened, but sometimes the people talking are full of carp). The moderators do a good job of selecting only the funny ones (only about 1 in 35 get chosen), so you can just click 'random' and you won't have to sift through thousands of I-don't-get-it's. However, many of them are NSFKF (not safe for Kitlet Forest), since there are no censorship rules on the site, but there are plenty of safe funny ones too. I couldn't possibly post all of my favorites, so I'll just post a few random samples instead:

11:53 am - The Red Paperclip Transaction Is Complete...

So, if any of you remember, about a year ago Kyle MacDonald didn't want to pay for a house so he decided to see if he could trade one red paperclip for it. He offered to trade the red paperclip for anything of more value, then he would trade the next thing for something worth more, and so on, all on the internet. His last few trades were an afternoon with Alison Cooper, a KISS snowglobe, and a movie role in Hollywood. Tommorrow he'll trade that for his house. You can read the rest of his trades (which started with a paperclip for a fish pen) at his blog. Lucky.

12:01 am - I'm Caving into the LJ Thing

Okay, I've made a decision. My Xanga page is used primarily for talking to friends I know IRL (otherwise why else would I use Xanga?), so maybe I should have one for talking to people I know on the Internet. Plus, I've always wanted to try LiveJournal... it looks like a better blog-type-network than Xanga, and it's more of a community than Blogger (other than its 'next blog' button, Blogger almost completely treats every blog as a totally separate web page, which comes in handy for some things, but not this). People I know on the Internet have different interests anyways, so I'll be able to post different stuff. So, later on I'll work on the style of this page, and there should be much more to come. I hope this is fun... |
